SOUND Café at the Cumberland Hotel faced the challenge of increasing attendance for their “Back to the Future” themed Afternoon Tea event. Despite the event’s uniqueness, initial engagement was low, and the café needed a strategy to enhance visibility and draw in more attendees.

To address this challenge, we implemented a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy designed to drive awareness and boost attendance. The key components of this strategy included:

Programmatic Out-Of-Home (OOH) Advertising: We deployed data-driven OOH ads in strategic locations to ensure high visibility among potential customers, targeting relevant areas in the West End of London.

 

Email Marketing: A series of targeted email campaigns were launched, engaging with existing customers and encouraging them to attend and share the event with their networks.

Social Media Promotions: We leveraged social media platforms with a mix of paid ads and organic posts, creating buzz around the event by highlighting its unique theme and offering engaging content related to the “Back to the Future” franchise.

Hyper-Targeted Mobile Advertising: Location-based mobile ads were used to reach potential attendees at the right moment, delivering personalised messages that motivated immediate action.

The campaign led to a 1.96x increase in footfall, bringing in 126 new visitors in the final week, totaling 684 exposed users seen at SOUND Café.
