As Hunterlodge turns 30, MD and founder, Rob Hunter shares some of his favourite memories from the last 30 years.
How has Hunterlodge changed over the last 30 years?
It's hard to believe that Hunterlodge is 30 years old. It feels like just yesterday we were an agency of two people, working from my lounge using drawing boards to create design, artwork and print to now being an agency based in luxury offices employing over 45 people, delivering national and international fully integrated advertising and marketing campaigns.
Do you have a personal favourite campaign or project that you've worked on in the last 30 years?
It's hard to pick just one campaign or project from the last 30 years. We've done so many, but I think the first one that comes to mind is creating and delivering an international campaign for Rockwell Automation that generated a 55% response rate.
Any favourite memories from the last 30 years?
Again it's hard to pick just one memory, as there are so many. Here are just a few moments that stand out: opening our roof garden, taking the office to Majorca for our 15 year anniversary party, being made a fellow of the IPA, winning our first IPA platinum accreditation, winning best Investors in People company in the world, winning the most effective campaign in the UK with Volkswagen at the Financial Services Forum Awards, taking the office to Dublin last Christmas, working with awesome and like minded clients, working with the best advertising team in the world every day…. I could keep going, but I'll stop there.
What excites you about Hunterlodge 30 years later?
Watching our fabulous staff develop, create and deliver integrated advertising and marketing campaigns for our fantastic clients.
Where do you see Hunterlodge going in the next 30 years?
I see Hunterlodge growing and delivering even bigger and better advertising campaigns and being recognised as the most effective agency in the UK.
