We are pleased to welcome another new face at the 'Lodge. Meet Nick Friend.
What is your role at Hunterlodge?
I'm an Account Director
And what projects are you currently involved in?
The main account I’m working on currently is Henley Business School, but I’m already involved with McLaren and soon to be with Homeserve.
Where are you from originally?
I was born and brought up in Henley-on-Thames.
So why advertising?
There’s so much variety and no two days are the same. I enjoy working hard for our clients – and if they are happy, then so am I.
With such a strong focus on effectiveness at Hunterlodge, why does effectiveness matter so much to you?
It just means that we’re constantly striving to do things better and challenge ourselves – which in turn means great work, but also a supporting environment.
Some favourites now - favourite food?
Homemade Spaghetti Bolognaise and anything on the BBQ.
Favourite project you've worked on here at Hunterlodge or previously?
I recently worked on a lovely POS project for Krispy Kreme and earlier this year a very smart and beautiful tourism campaign for Visit Manchester.
Favourite thing to do with your spare time?
Spending time with my wife and baby daughter, Alice. Open water swimming and beer.
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I’ve represented my country at 2 different sports – Rowing (U18) and Triathlon (30-35).
How about a random fact about you or something you find interesting?
The two tiny holes drilled in every BIC pen is to ensure that the air pressure is the same both inside and outside the pen, which helps the ink flow to the tip.
