As the Hunterlodge team has grows we look forward to introducing you to all the new 'Lodgers. Today we introduce you to Nathan Marsden.
What is your role at Hunterlodge?
I’m our new Copywriter.
And what projects are you currently involved in?
I'm working across a broad range of projects but today I'm working on the Mercedes-Benz Van rebrand.
Where are you from originally?
I'm from Ipswich, in Suffolk.
So why advertising?
For me, advertising is all about human behaviour, trying to understand it, and of course, working to change it. I knew advertising was the career path for me from the age of fourteen, and my passion for it is reinvigorated every time I'm able to work on an exciting idea for any client, big or small.
With such a strong focus on effectiveness at Hunterlodge, why does effectiveness matter so much to you?
Effectiveness is the entire purpose of what we do. Without results, we would be a bunch of irrelevant weirdos, swiping and clawing at Macs for no reason.
Some favourites now - favourite food?
Pasta of any variety - I love it.
Favourite project you've worked on here at Hunterlodge or previously?
My favourite project that I've worked on to do is Epson's 'The Make Your House The Home of Sport' campaign. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into campaigns here at Hunterlodge and having one of them become my new favourite.
Favourite thing to do with your spare time?
I enjoy watching football. I also read a lot, see my friends and run a thriving embroidery club. That last one isn't true - or is it?
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I'm pretty much bionic. I broke my leg playing football in February, and now I have a big metal plate in it.
How about a random fact about you or something you find interesting?
Per capita, Finnish people drink more coffee than anyone else. I know, it blew my mind too.
