The Hunterlodge team continues to grow and we are thrilled to introduce you to the newest newbie, Meriel Barnbrook.
What is your role at Hunterlodge?
I’m an Account Manager.
And what projects are you currently involved in?
I’m going to be working on the Pearson College London, Escape Studios and Ordnance Survey accounts, which I’m really excited about getting stuck into.
Where are you from originally?
Milton Keynes (....City of Dreams!) but I’ve recently moved down to Bushey, Hertfordshire.
So why advertising?
It’s something that I’ve fallen into, but absolutely love. It’s fast paced, creative, dynamic, and each day is different – I’m really proud to say that I work in this vibrant and interesting industry.
With such a strong focus on effectiveness at Hunterlodge, why does effectiveness matter so much to you?
I’m pointing out the obvious here, but to get a job done properly you need to be effective from start to finish to go above and beyond your objectives. After a campaign is complete and you achieve your objectives and get a great result, it’s an all-rounder – happy clients and a happy team!
Some favourites now - favourite food?
I’m a massive steak lover, and a huge fan of Hawksmoor and Flat Iron. I’m slowly making my way around numerous steak restaurants London has to offer. I also love Tapas.
Favourite project you've worked on here at Hunterlodge or previously?
In a previous life, I worked on the Appletiser account which included a sponsorship with Ascot racecourse – this involved working on various campaigns including advertising on the London Underground, online and on-premise competitions, marketing around Ascot racecourse and shooting a TV ad which is shown every race day.
Favourite thing to do with your spare time?
Shopping, eating out, spending time with friends & family and hot yoga!
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I share my birthday with one of my favourite actresses – Jennifer Aniston.
How about a random fact about you or something you find interesting?
Sea otters hold hands when they sleep so they don’t drift apart. How cute!
