Stepping into the office for the first time, we were filled with a mixture of excitement and curiosity.
One of the things we enjoyed the most was the opportunity to be part of a real advertising agency. Witnessing actual projects and hard work come to life right before our eyes was inspiring.
The shadowing days were one of the highlights of our time here, as we were given a chance to actively contribute to live projects with various tasks. It was good to see our efforts making a difference.
Beyond the projects, the office atmosphere was brilliant. The team made a huge effort to welcome us, creating a friendly and supportive environment. Everyone was approachable and more than willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
Initially, we had limited understanding of data analysis and the complexities involved in creating successful projects. Thanks to some engaging exercises and examples, we now feel more confident in understanding best practice media planning and how to interpret briefs and communicate effectively with clients.

We were given comprehensive insights into the different aspects of the business; media, creative, content and martech. We were not only presented with informative presentations but also engaged in practical activities that simulated the skills required in the advertising world.
Working with briefs, projects, and attending meetings allowed us to explore various roles within the agency. Along the way, we honed our presentation skills and overcame the fear of public speaking, thanks to the countless opportunities to express our ideas in front of the team.
Another highlight was the chance to analyse clients’ websites and user experiences to identify potential improvements. This exercise helped us apply our learning to real-world scenarios and sharpened our problem-solving abilities.
The combination of real projects, a supportive team, and engaging activities gave us a very rounded experience and some huge lessons to take forward with us as we start to think about our future careers.
