We sat down with Sasha, our new Finance Assistant…
1. Describe yourself in 100 words.
I would describe myself as outgoing and fun-loving. I’m always up for trying something new and spend most of my spare time doing some form of physical activity. Currently, I’m training for a half marathon, but pretty much anything active and you’ll see me there. I love a challenge to get me going and constantly strive to develop new skills. I joined HL as it had everything I was looking for in a role – friendly colleagues, flexibility, and the opportunity to learn new skills. Working within the advertising sector is something completely new to me, so it’s been super fun getting to work in this environment.
2. Have you ever been told you look like someone famous, who was it?
Not really – a few people have said Blake Lively, but that’s definitely a long shot hahaha. Probably more accurately is the ‘do the roar’ kid from Shrek ☹
3. What would the title of your autobiography be?
“It is what it is.”
4. If you could spend a day in any fictional world, where would you go and what would you do?
I would probably go to a fictional world where humans have wings so we can just fly and visit wherever we want at the drop of a hat. Not too sure where I’d go first, there’s way too many places on my list – an African safari would be pretty cool.
5. If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose and why?
I have always really wanted to do the celebrity cyclone on I’m a celeb but unfortunately, I’m not a celeb:/
6. Can you share a quirky talent or a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
Pretty convinced I would give most people a good run for their money on Mario Kart.
7. You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
Any ABBA song.
8. If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life what would it be?
Tricky – I do love steak, so I’d probably go for that or seafood linguine.
9. If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Nikola Tesla – conspiracy theory incoming… but people say he created a time machine and that’s what’s hidden in area 51 lol, might as well ask the man himself. He also lived 20 years longer than the average life expectancy at the time – pretty impressive.
10. What’s your all-time favorite movie, and why does it hold a special place for you?
Pretty much any Rom-Com, just such easy watching and everyone loves a happy ending.
Sasha Purslow, with her infectious spirit and adventurous outlook, is undoubtedly a delightful addition to the HL team, bringing a fresh perspective and boundless enthusiasm to the table.
