2 minutes with Manon Stowe

From walking and talking with Narnia's Aslan to dining at Michelin star restaurants.

Hunterlodge places great importance on CPD and upskilling, and as someone who enjoys continually learning new things, it was a perfect match!

  1. Describe yourself in 100 words. What gets you going, what do you like to do in your spare time, and why did you join Hunterlodge? I enjoy spending time with friends and family, travelling, good weather, good food and beach days. I also enjoy going for a nice meal out, most likely having found a deal at a Michelin guide restaurant. I joined Hunterlodge as I was looking to leverage my existing experience in sales, teaching and leadership to learn, grow and excel in a creative and commercial environment. 2. Have you ever been told you look like someone famous, who was it? Not that I can think of!
  3. What would the title of your autobiography be? From Naples to London and everywhere in between.
  4. If you could spend a day in any fictional world, where would you go and what would you do?  I think Narnia, to walk and talk with Aslan.
  5. If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose and why? Possibly The Parisian Agency on Netflix, it’s about a family-run luxury real estate business. Sometimes they visit stunning coastal properties in different locations, and it’s visiting those properties that interests me most.
  6. Can you share a quirky talent or a fun fact about yourself that not many people know? Since moving to a house with a garden, I have really enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and the learning process of growing plants and food from seed.
  7. You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick? La Vie en Rose, Édith Piaf.
  8. If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life what would it be? Pasta with homemade tomato sauce, followed by a great steak, sides, and a glass of good red wine.
  9. If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why? Jane Austen perhaps to see what inspired the making of Pride and Prejudice amongst her other great works.
  10. What’s your all-time favourite movie, and why does it hold a special place for you? It would probably be the 1953 film Calamity Jane with Doris Day as it reminds me of my grandma.
