The challenge
To position the University of Leicester as thought leaders in public policy debate and secure its growing reputation amongst opinion leaders.
Our insight
The University is passionate about research and teaching and has a core of academics in a position to comment on and contribute to social policy discussions. We needed to ensure that the University engaged in intelligent debate with their target audience ensuring that issues important to them were being addressed. We created an integrated campaign focusing on national print and online advertising, backed and supported by social media engagement with our intended audience.
Results
The University has successfully hosted the first event; ‘Should we punish or reform offenders?’ to a full house at the Tower of London. Engagement on both the Exchanges.com website and via the social media channels has been extensive and exceeded all expectations.
