Last week we introduced you to Hunterlodge newbie Will and today we head over to meet another new member of the team, Laura Hothersall.
What is your role at Hunterlodge?
I’m an account manager.
And what projects are you currently involved in?
I am currently getting my teeth into Henley Business School. With lots of great clients here, I’m looking forward to working across a lot more.
Where are you from originally?
My passport states Bolton but having lived in Marlborough, Wiltshire for over 20 years, I’m sticking to this!
So why advertising?
No day is ever the same; you have the opportunity to learn so much about the environment around you every single day. It’s also a huge buzz when you see your work live and achieving what it set out to do.
With such a strong focus on effectiveness at Hunterlodge, why does effectiveness matter so much to you?
I love to plan and organise all aspects of life - without being effective this wouldn’t be possible and we wouldn’t be successful in managing campaigns and meeting objectives.
Some favourites now - favourite food?
Gravy, I’d have it on everything if I could.
Favourite project you've worked on here at Hunterlodge or previously?
Previously I worked on the launch of the Jaguar F-TYPE. Such a beautiful and fun car, I got to race it round the track at 165mph – it was such a rush!
Favourite thing to do with your spare time?
I’m a huge 80’s music fan so am always on the lookout for new gigs. This year I have seen Billy Ocean and I’m looking forward to seeing Simply Red in July.
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I once appeared in the Daily Mail for having the best fed pet in Britain.
How about a random fact about you or something you find interesting?
Champagne corks kill roughly 24 people a year. What a way to go...
