As our staff profiles continue we head upstairs to the media department to meet Nazgul Kulbayeva.
What is your role at Hunterlodge?
I'm our Digital Media Executive.
And what projects are you currently involved in?
My current projects include Pearson College, LSBU, Exeter, Belmond, Cats, BCU, and the Varkey Foundation. I work with all our clients who run digital campaigns so I get to work on a wide range of projects.
Where are you from originally?
I’m from Kazakhstan.
So why advertising?
I have always found advertising interesting. I like to see how advertising impacts people’s perceptions and behaviour. I believe marketing, and advertising particularly, is one of the most important aspects of business.
With such a strong focus on effectiveness at Hunterlodge, why does effectiveness matter so much to you?
It’s very important for development – in business as well as everyday life.
Some favourites now - favourite food?
I don’t really have one, but if I had to pick probably black.
Favourite project you've worked on here at Hunterlodge or previously?
I really enjoyed working on the Varkey Foundation’s Global Teacher Prize campaign. It was a humbling campaign to work on and showed that advertising can have a really meaningful impact.
Favourite thing to do with your spare time?
I like to watch a good movie or listen to music. I enjoy tennis and walking around London. It’s an active way to spend time.
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I used to do gymnastics and I’m currently into tennis as a hobby (when the weather is nice), and skiing in the winter.
How about a random fact about you or something you find interesting?
I’m good at shooting.
