Hunterlodge Commissioned by 21st NHS Health Trust to produce Diabetes Information and Resource Packs
NHS Southampton City has become the landmark 21st NHS trust to commission the patient diabetes information and resource pack for distribution to over 9,000 diabetes patients in Southampton.
The diabetes information pack which has won several accolades, including an NHS Modernisation Award and a NICE Patient Information Award, has been distributed all over the country covering Scotland, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London & home counties and now the South Coast. Since its launch, over 350,000 packs have been produced for patients on behalf of the NHS.
The information and content is a result of over 350 hours of research time invested by NHS Newham, gathering and refining information and findings from a diverse audience of specialist clinicians, nurses, service commissioners and patients. The original design and production of the pack was so well received that Hunterlodge were approached by NHS Innovations London to set up a licensed distribution channel making the pack available to NHS diabetes clinics throughout the UK.
Record numbers of requests for information about the patient diabetes resource pack are currently being received by Hunterlodge.
