exam success for hunterlodge advertising

“You have three hours to answer all questions, you may start.” These are words most people haven’t heard for quite some time. Well, not so at hunterlodge advertising where Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sits high on the agenda. To give you an idea, we deliver over five times the industry average in hours dedicated to professional development.

So what have we been up to in 2010?

Five staff took their Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Advanced Certificate exam, a ten-month online learning programme designed to provide an in-depth understanding in communications planning and implementation in July 2010. We are delighted to announce that they all passed with flying colours.

The minimum IPA standard for our account management staff is the Foundation Certificate, an online learning programme covering the entire brand communications and advertising process. The exam took place earlier in the year and we are pleased to say that all involved successfully passed.

All staff completed their IPA LegRegs Certificate, covering legal and regulatory matters in communications, and the entire agency as well as several clients, also attended a bespoke two day intensive IPA Digital Foundation Course in July which covered planning, strategy, research, analytics and developing trends.

Kim McLellan, Client Director at hunterlodge advertising, commented that “this has proven to us that you can commit to CPD and run a successful agency. We will continue to commit to this strategy throughout 2010 and beyond, ensuring we provide our clients with strategic and creative excellence. For us, our training budget is extremely important and we will continue to invest heavily in it.”

Congratulations and well done to everyone who has worked so hard!
